Expose Darkness

The Dobbs case did more than just close down clinics in abortion ban states; it made an already profitable “business” more lucrative, raising millions of dollars in order to open new clinics in what were considered “safe” states – like Virginia.

Virginia, surrounded by these “ban” states, has become a focal point for abortion tourism, and this just doesn’t apply to mothers. Traveling abortionists have also started traveling to these “safe” states in order to continue murdering pre-born children.

Bristol Women’s Health alone has had several of these abortionists for hire come from out of state in order to slaughter the most innocent among us – one of these traveling abortionists is even named in a recent lawsuit for performing an abortion on a minor without parental consent, which is against the law in the state of Virginia.

As more and more mothers are looking to hire someone else to murder their preborn children, the need for these abortionists is on the rise. Clinic owners, needing to meet the high demands of abortive-minded mothers, are footing the bill on travel expenses and even buying residential property in order to facilitate lodging.

More money? Expenses paid? Bloodlust still in their hearts? Yes, this would seem to be enticing to abortionists and likely why the current traveling abortionist is coming to Bristol, VA.

Jessica Rubino has been the “in house doctor” for Bristol Women’s Health since about a week after the Virginia Board of Medicine approved her medical license. She comes a few days a week and at times is accompanied by her husband, Jared Blair.

Rubino graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 2012 and by 2017 she was employed at not just one abortion clinic but three: Brookside Women’s Medical in Austin, Austin Women’s Health and Whole Women’s Health in San Antonio, Texas.

Rubino states in her bio for Austin Women’s Health that she is a “first and second trimester abortion provider, former Fellow with Physicians for Reproductive Health and reproductive justice advocate” and when asked why she provides abortions she simply states, “because patients need them.”

Ironically, when interviewed by Texas Monthly on the Dobbs leak in May of 2022, Jessica is quoted saying, “It’s like knowing that a train is going to crash ahead of time and there’s going to be a ton of human suffering and people will die. And there literally isn’t anything I can do to stop it.”

But yet, that is exactly the job of an abortionist. Their whole intent is causing other human beings to suffer and to die. She doesn’t even deny that preborn children are human beings but instead of equality for all, it’s equality for some.

Later Rubino tells the reporter that she has adopted a dog and started doing yoga in order to “cope”. But that wasn’t enough. She had to start taking antidepressants and go to therapy because to her it was “soul crushing” to turn away so many mothers that wanted to hire her to murder their preborn children.

December 2022, during a podcast with the New York Times, Jessica shares that she started doing more normal gynecological care in order to keep the clinic open post-Dobbs. She was now administering care that your average gynecologist or family physician would provide, and that left her feeling empty.

She decided to quit her job in Texas telling the reporter, “Being in that state for so long, I eventually — it broke me. And I feel like I was physically breaking down. I’ve been having terrible abdominal pain, having physical manifestations of what I can tell is part of anxiety. And emotionally, I was like, I cannot be a good physician in this situation anymore.” After all that wasn’t her passion. Rubino’s passion is providing abortions, it’s what she “takes pride in”.

Jessica tells the podcast host, “I finally have this dim light of I could be doing abortions again and be really happy”. The dim light appears to have come from Bristol, VA where Rubino is assumingly now happy that she can resume with what she was trained for, her passion – the murdering of preborn children in the womb.

Dobbs did a lot of things, but it did not abolish abortion; it did not provide all human beings with equal protection and equal justice. In fact, one could say, it’s because of Dobbs that we have had a steady increase in preborn murder and a sudden rise in abortion tourism.

We must do better.
