What is The Imago Dei Ministry

I had been going to the abortion clinic once a week for a while and during that time I began praying for God to provide a way for me to be able to do more. I wanted to be out at the clinic more than once a week but was not able to due to duties at home with the children and homeschool.  During February of 2020 I began searching social media groups looking for ones that had mothers posting about their upcoming abortions and started reaching out to mothers through messenger. I did this alone for a little while when I realized that I just could not do this on my own, I needed brothers and sisters in Christ to help with this.  I reached out to a friend (Nick) and ran the idea by him and explained the idea of starting a group where we reach out to abortive minded mothers online. After some discussions between Nick, my husband and myself …. we started the group and got things going!

Originally, it wasn’t called The Imago Dei, it was just a group with like minded Christians with a common purpose and goal but that seemed to quickly change, the Lord had different plans!  The group became a ministry, and we became The Imago Dei. We then started fundraising for ministry equipment, website fees and for the 501(c)3 process….and it was a long process! We have been reaching out to abortive minded mothers since March 26th, 2020. During that time, we have reached out to over 800 mothers and God has saved 142 precious children!

Our ministry doesn’t receive a steady amount of monthly donations or even large sums of donations but anytime we have had a mother in need, God has provided for her and her family! Can we get an AMEN to that!!!!  We see more and more mothers opt for murdering their children at home by ordering the pills online, never stepping foot in the clinics. There are various reasons why this is happening, and we hope to educate people further on these at home abortions in our future blog posts.

Please pray for this ministry, pray for the volunteers, for the mothers and for the innocent children whose lives are hanging on by a thread.
