G3 National Conference

What a blessing it was to be at the 2023 G3 National Conference! There were so many people and many great conversations! This was by far the largest conference we have ever attended!

We started every day with a question on our whiteboard to try and get people to engage with us on abortion, abolition and what exactly was going on now that we have Dobbs.

The first day the question was “Has any state abolished abortion?”. While we did get a mixture of different replies and conversations, most people erased their answers once we told them what the prolife laws in their state meant and that actually abortion is still legal in all 50 states.

On this day one particular lady got defensive and upset at the fast that her state, Mississippi, had in fact NOT abolished abortion…. She was really the only one that didn’t want to hear what we had to say and at the end all we could do is urge her to read the laws in place and pray that the Lord would open her eyes.

Day two our whiteboard question was “Should women who willingly abort their preborn children be charged with murder?”. Now we definitely had some engagement with this one and while a lot of people would mark “NO” they would turn around after speaking with us and erase their answer and mark “YES”.

There were a few times it just brough tears to our eyes to see people asking great questions and just watching them work it out and using scripture to do so, it was such a beautiful thing to see!

Day three and the final day we just wanted to ask a simple IVF question, “Is IVS wrong?”. While the whiteboard doesn’t have nearly as many marks as the previous day it was the best day for conversations! We even talked to a couple that had adopted two snowflake babies and agreed that IVF should be abolished.

I was surprised that many people didn’t know what IVF was and we would have to explain it to them and once we went into details, they would think for a second and agreed that IVF is in fact wrong and as hard as people try to push the “ethical IVF” argument, there is really nothing “ethical” about it.

We were able to hand out around 300 “Abortion is Murder/AMBA” wristbands, around 200 “Abortion is Murder” lanyards and close to 1000 Abolitionists Rising drop cards! Speaking of Abolitionist Rising, we had some people thinking we were them and were so excited because they loved their TikTok videos.

I would have to say our first year at the G3 National Conference was a success! The conversations that we had were meaningful and we had people change their mind on various things that are imperative to abolishing abortion AND IVF!

We look forward and hope to be at the next one – maybe with some more controversial questions, who knows!
