Terminations for Medical Reasons (TFMR)

One of the things we do when we travel to conferences (especially those not abortion related) is educate people on the various methods of abortion (murder)...for instance:

Terminations for medical reasons: this can be because of a genetic abnormality or deformity in their child (down syndrome, club foot for example) or it could be for the health of the mother.

The health of the mother can be anything from high blood pressure, severe morning sickness but also mental and emotional health as well – the definition for this is very vague and often is determined by what state you live in or are traveling to.

Depending on how far along the mother is, she can opt to take the kill pills, do a surgical abortion or a labor induction method.

What is the labor induction method? Well, it's basically just how it sounds. The mom will go into the hospital and be induced to deliver her child early – purposely killing the child.

Some babies will get a shot before labor induction that will stop their hearts. (Direct fetal intracardiac potassium chloride injection - causes immediate fetal cardiac arrest).

However, not all preborn babies are given this shot and are born alive- living anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.

The children born alive are denied any form of life saving treatment and are often held by their parents while they fight for life but ultimately because labor was induced so early the child will die – which was the planned outcome.

Parents often choose this method because they still want to have that "labor and delivery" experience but not the child- be it for whatever reason. Yes, you read that right, they still want that “labor and delivery experience”.

No matter what may be going on with the child or the mother, God and God alone is the author of life and death. Mercy killings are not a thing, they are not biblical, and it is still murder in the eyes of God.
