No, Kristan—You're Not the Victim

Over a month ago, I—along with several other abolitionists—attempted to engage with Kristan Hawkins after one of her many deceptive posts claiming she is working to "abolish abortion," while simultaneously defending laws that keep it legal for mothers who premeditate the murder of their unborn children under the guise of victimhood.

We spoke hard truths: that she lies when she says she wants abortion abolished, lies when she claims to seek justice for the preborn, and lies when she says she’s working to protect them. She is deceptive, and yes—the blood of the innocent is on her hands for her role in keeping abortion legal. I, along with others, called her to repent and turn to the true Christ, not the false gospel she clings to.

Kristan refused all meaningful dialogue. As the truth about her compromise became increasingly clear, she pivoted to playing the victim—claiming that she wasn’t afraid of the pro-choice crowd, but of abolitionists. She even went so far as to suggest that abolitionists might shoot her. When that didn’t work, she went on a mass blocking spree—silencing those of us who spoke the truth and refusing even the most basic engagement with anyone calling her to repent.

Let’s be clear: Kristan Hawkins has never been threatened with violence by anyone in the abolitionist movement. That is not who we are, and anyone familiar with our doctrine and actions knows this.

She even dedicated an entire YouTube video to defending herself against abolitionists. In it, she showed screenshots of actual Christians—but conveniently, some of the worst so-called "comments" were simply typed out, not screenshotted. When I looked up the usernames she referenced, it was obvious they weren’t Christians, and therefore not abolitionists. The abolitionist movement is not secular—it is explicitly Christian and rooted in submission to Jesus Christ.

In a newly released article, Kristan claims abolitionists are coming to her events screaming "baby killer." I personally know several abolitionists who have attended her events. None have done any such thing. I’ve seen the footage. They wait patiently in line, try to ask legitimate questions, and are met with security or flat out refusal to engage.

Now she’s using these false accusations to manipulate donors—claiming she needs more money for security and even knows the cost of a bomb-sniffing dog. Seriously? Where’s the evidence? Where are the threats? Where are the abolitionists screaming at her? Where’s the proof?

Her delusion has convinced her that abolitionists are more focused on her than on the babies being murdered daily in our communities. That’s laughable. Just because a few attend her speaking events doesn’t mean we’ve abandoned the frontlines. We are still outside the death camps every day—pleading with mothers, preaching the gospel, offering help, and calling for repentance. She wouldn’t know, because that’s not where she is.

The truth is, Kristan has no defense against the charges brought by abolitionists. She is keeping abortion legal. She opposes abolition bills. She advocates for legal immunity for mothers who kill their children. And she is following a false gospel. Rather than engage honestly, she invents threats, plays the victim, and uses it all to solicit donations from well-meaning people who have no idea what she’s actually doing.

While she travels the country for photo ops and speaking gigs, we remain on the frontlines of human extermination facilities—being a voice for the voiceless, proclaiming Christ, calling abortion what it is: murder, and holding mothers and everyone involved in the killing accountable. We warn of judgment, offer real hope, and preach repentance through Christ. That’s something Kristan refuses to do.

Scripture is not on her side.

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness” (Isaiah 5:20). She defends laws that allow murder and calls it compassion. She manipulates language and cloaks compromise in religious packaging, marketing it as ministry—twisting the truth just enough to appear righteous while denying the weight of justice and repentance. But God sees it for what it is—man-pleasing deception dressed up in religious language (Galatians 1:10).

“They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace” (Jeremiah 6:14). She downplays the evil of child sacrifice and pretends that regulation brings healing, but the slaughter continues.

“Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter” (Proverbs 24:11). She refuses to rescue. She regulates.

“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap” (Galatians 6:7). She sows deceit and compromise. God is not blind to it.

She is not a victim. She is a deceiver. She is not a defender of life. She is an obstacle to justice.

“Whoever says ‘I know him’ but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him” (1 John 2:4). She claims to follow Christ while opposing equal justice for the preborn. The Word of God calls that a lie.

As more people wake up to the deception of the pro-life movement, they’re waking up to her. And that threatens her influence, her income, and her comfort.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. We don’t want you to be our enemy. We want to see you repent, believe the true gospel, follow Christ, and stand with us in the fight for the full and immediate abolition of abortion.

But until then, as long as she fights against justice, she is an enemy of God—not because we say so, but because His Word does. And as long as that remains true, we will continue to expose her lies, oppose her tactics, and pray earnestly for her salvation.

“Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy” (Proverbs 31:8–9). This is what she should be doing. But she won’t—because her ministry isn’t built on justice. It’s built on compromise and profit.
